Harsha Ram, Ph.D. (Comparative Literature) Yale University, is Associate Professor in the Departments of Slavic Languages and Literatures and Comparative Literature. He holds a B. A. Honours degree in Italian Literature from the University of Sydney, Australia, and also did graduate work at the Universit 0064egli studi di Venezia. His research and teaching interests include Italian futurism in a comparative context, the legacy of Filippo Marinetti, 20th-century Italian poetry, and Italian modernism as a case-study in peripheral modernity. His recent publications include The Imperial Sublime. A Russian Poetics of Empire (University of Wisconsin Press, 2003).
