The IS 302 practicum is a continuation of IS 375 and provides further training in the teaching of Italian as a foreign language. It is required to all GSIs teaching an Italian language course. Each semester the practicum focuses on concrete didactic issues (i.e. teaching with technology in Spring and Fall and teaching students with learning disabilities in Fall). Its purpose is to support and help GSIs to develop a repertoire of teaching techniques and to meet a variety of teaching situations.

Prerequisites: GSI status in the Department of Italian Studies.
